Trim Carpenter / Cabinet Installer

Hang doors, run base and case, and set cabinets on multifamily and commercial projects. Installer I through Lead Installer, $28 to $38 an hour.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, starting as early as 5 a.m.

QBC LLC installs interior finishes on multifamily and commercial projects across Wisconsin: doors, base, case, cabinets and countertops. We're hiring 7 finish carpenters who take pride in a clean install.

Pay and schedule

  • Installer I: $28 to $31/hr. Solid trim and cabinet skills, 2+ years.
  • Installer II: $31 to $35/hr. Works independently, sets the pace, little punch.
  • Lead Installer: $35 to $38/hr. Leads a unit or floor and trains newer installers.
  • Monday to Friday, 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Year-round work, overtime available.
  • $1,000 sign-on bonus: $100 at 30 days, $150 at 45 days, $250 at 6 months, $500 at 1 year.

What you'll do

  • Hang interior doors and install casing and base
  • Set, level and align cabinets
  • Read plans and catch problems before they become punch items
  • Work unit by unit on 50 to 500 unit multifamily and commercial jobs
  • Work alongside a crew that holds the same standard you do

What you bring

  • 2+ years of trim carpentry or cabinet installation
  • Your own hand tools. QBC provides a tool program to help you buy your own power tools.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites in the Madison and Milwaukee areas

No degree required.
