Cabinet Installation in the Greater Milwaukee Area

Multifamily cabinets supplied and installed in Milwaukee's suburbs, with Wauwatosa and West Allis projects behind us

Does QBC install cabinets in Greater Milwaukee?

Yes. QBC LLC supplies and installs kitchen cabinets, bath vanities, closet systems, and common area casework for general contractors and developers on multifamily projects in the Milwaukee suburbs, most often bundled with countertops. Our crews are based in DeForest, about 80 miles west, and the suburbs, Wauwatosa, West Allis, Waukesha County, and the north shore, are where our Milwaukee work lands.

Where has QBC installed cabinets in Greater Milwaukee?

Projects completed or under contract, with the general contractor:

  • 7474 Harwood / St. Bernards, Wauwatosa (Catalyst Construction): finish carpentry, countertops, and cabinets
  • Harlow & Hem, Wauwatosa (Greenfire): countertops and cabinets
  • SoNa Lofts Phase II, West Allis (Moore Construction Services): countertops and cabinets
  • Vets Place Central, Milwaukee (Kelly Construction): cabinets, countertops, and sills

Every one of these paired cabinets with tops. That pairing is the reason to call us: one project manager, one schedule, and the countertop template happens the week the cabinets are set.

What does the cabinet scope include?

The same scope as our cabinetry service page: kitchen cabinets, bath vanities, closet systems, and common area casework (CSI Division 12), supplied and installed under one contract. Our primary line is a frameless system engineered for multifamily kitchens, baths, and closets, with framed and frameless lines from other manufacturers when the spec calls for them. Takeoff from your plans, samples and submittals approved before anything is ordered, shop drawings, every unit site measured before the order is finalized, installation and trim-out by QBC crews, and a 1 year labor warranty plus manufacturer warranty support. Countertops and finish carpentry are separate QBC scopes run by the same project manager, so cabinets set, tops template, and trim closes out on one calendar.

How does a Greater Milwaukee cabinet project run?

Cabinets are one of the longest lead items in the finish schedule, 4 to 6 months from award to installation on a larger multifamily project, so the clock starts in preconstruction. Your project manager is assigned, door styles, finishes, and hardware are approved from samples, shop drawings are signed off, and every unit is site measured before the order is placed against its lead time. Deliveries are scheduled by building so product is not sitting on site getting damaged. Crews set cabinets after drywall and before countertops; if QBC holds the tops, the same project manager sends the templating crew in behind them. Four rounds of punch (ours, yours, the owner's, and final), then closeout with labor and manufacturer warranties.

How do I get QBC on a Greater Milwaukee project?

Send plans to bids@questbuildingcorp.com, or call 608-665-3304 and ask for Sales. We take off and bid every requested scope, labor and materials, under one contract. Most of our work comes through general contractors; if you're a developer who wants QBC on the job, see how developers put QBC on a project.

FAQs

Do you install cabinets for Greater Milwaukee homeowners?

No. Our cabinet crews work for general contractors and developers on multifamily projects, plus specialty cabinet installations on commercial projects. The one place we work directly with homeowners is countertop packages.

Frameless or framed cabinets for a Greater Milwaukee apartment project?

Frameless cabinets have no face frame, so doors cover the full box and drawers open wider, which suits tight unit layouts. Framed cabinets give a wider range of door styles and finishes. We install both and can price both at bid.

Do you site measure before ordering?

Yes. Every unit is measured before the cabinet order is finalized. Measuring before ordering is how a fit error on one kitchen stays off the other 100.

Can you supply cabinets without installation?

Yes. We have sold cabinetry-only packages to general contractors; see building materials.

Who is my point of contact?

One dedicated QBC project manager, from bid through closeout, for every scope we hold.
