Multifamily Framing and Finishes in the Fox Valley

A QBC crew gathered for a toolbox talk outside a multifamily building under construction

Does QBC work in the Fox Valley?

Yes. The Fox Valley is the area QBC LLC is actively building into, and it is the north end of the circle our crews travel from DeForest, two hours or less depending on traffic and road construction. Finished countertops and framing materials go farther than the crews do, as far north as Green Bay. We supply and install framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and countertops for general contractors and developers on multifamily projects, under one contract with one project manager per job.

Which Fox Valley cities does QBC have pages for?

Each city page lists the projects we have completed or have under contract there, with the general contractor and the scopes.

Neenah, Menasha, Grand Chute, Kaukauna, and the rest of the Fox Cities are inside the same circle. Fond du Lac does not have a named project yet; the page is there because it is on the route and we bid it.

What has QBC built in the Fox Valley?

Projects completed or under contract, with the general contractor:

  • Moon Property Apartments, Oshkosh (Stevens Construction): finish carpentry, countertops, and cabinets, under contract
  • Maxwell on Main, Oshkosh (Stevens Construction): framing
  • The Landing at Grand Chute (Greenfire): countertops

That is the whole list so far. The same crews and project managers are behind roughly 75 completed projects in Madison.

What does QBC do in the Fox Valley?

Four scopes, bid separately or bundled:

  • Rough carpentry: platform framing, floor systems, trusses, and wall panels, with lumber and panels supplied under the same contract
  • Finish carpentry: doors, frames, hardware, base, case, window trim, and sills
  • Cabinetry: multifamily kitchen, bath, and closet cabinets, supplied, site measured, and installed
  • Countertops: quartz and granite, laser templated on site and fabricated in DeForest

For GCs in the Fox Valley, the material side is often the first conversation: lumber, trusses, and wall panels at volume pricing, delivered to your site with or without our crews. See building materials.

What should a Fox Valley GC expect from a DeForest-based sub?

We are up to two hours away, so we do not run a Foreman up for a 20-minute question. What we do instead is front-load the work. Submittals, samples, shop drawings, and site measurements get locked in preconstruction, deliveries are scheduled by building, and the crew stays on site through the scope rather than bouncing between jobs. On Moon Property the trim, cabinet, and countertop scopes run under one project manager, so the handoffs happen on one calendar instead of three.

How do I get QBC on a Fox Valley project?

Send plans to bids@questbuildingcorp.com, or call 608-665-3304 and ask for Sales. We take off and bid every requested scope, labor and materials, under one contract. If you are a developer who wants QBC on the job, see how developers put QBC on a project.
